What is a “Bad Trip”?
A “bad trip” or “blancazo” as it is also known, in short, is the discomfort that some people experience when consuming a lot of marijuana, which ranges from feeling like vomiting to experiencing feelings of disorientation, paranoia, chills, sweating and increased heart rate.
The combination of all these symptoms can be mistaken for an overdose. In addition, these discomforts can manifest themselves for quite some time in some cases (it can be from 30 minutes to 6 hours or perhaps more, it all depends on the person).
If you are experiencing a “bad trip or blancazo”, the best thing you can do is not to drink alcoholic beverages because they will only make the situation worse. Instead, try to find a comfortable place to stay.
Also, hydrate and eat something sweet, or drink some juice. Some people recommend eating black pepper.
