To learn more about this topic we invite you to continue reading this post, because here we will indicate the main difference.
CBD oil vs. cannabis oil
Although cannabis oil and CBD oil are derived from the same species of plant (Cannabis Sativa), and that both are also often used for medicinal purposes, as we said earlier you should be clear that it is not the same product and therefore each has different properties.
The oil of CBD as its name suggests contains Cannabidiol, which, is one of the most known cannabinoids. This oil comes generally from the industrial hemp, whose percentages of THC are very low.
When the products of oil of CBD include other cannabinoides and components of the plant of hemp (with the exception of the THC), we are speaking of the oil of CBD of complete spectrum.
The oil of CBD and the oil of cannabis differ mainly because this last one is characterized by its high content of THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) and psychoactive effect.
While it is true that in some cases cannabis oil may contain high levels of CBD, as it comes from cannabis strains intended for recreational use or above the legal THC threshold, it cannot be considered CBD oil.
