Growing marijuana at home is an increasingly popular activity, and many stoners are now interested in growing their weed. The truth is that setting up your growth can offer many advantages.

To ensure that your home growth is successful, you must provide your girls with the care they need. Keep reading this post; we will give you some simple tips that will surely help you a lot.

1- Don’t let the roots be tangled up

When you grow cannabis, a key point for success is to keep the roots of your marijuana plants in perfect condition.

One of the inconveniences you must avoid is that the roots are tangled, which usually happens when the pots or the space where your strains are planted is very small or limited.

The plant will tell you that it needs another pot when it shows signs of slowing down in its growth or when you realize that the roots of your weed have colonized the substrate in which they are located.

2- Provide the correct lighting cycle

When your marijuana strains are in the seedling stage, it is recommended that the light cycle used is 18/6, (18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness) like in the vegetative stage. While during flowering, it should be 12/12 (12 hours of light, and 12 hours of darkness).

You must choose the right type of lamp for each phase and take care that the light is distributed correctly to all your strains.

3- Support your plants

Getting your marijuana plants to give you big buds is good. However, when they grow too big, this can become a problem.

The weight of your flowers can cause branches to bend and stems to become damaged, so you will need to find a way to support the extra weight.

If you grow outdoors, there are alternatives to support the weight of your girls that can help you; for example, you can install a trellis net, a wire tomato cage, or bamboo stakes.

4- Monitor your cannabis

Ideally, you keep an eye on your girls during each stage to ensure that everything is in order. In the flowering phase, to be successful, you must make sure that the dark cycles are not interrupted.

5- Keep order

This point is so important. The cleaner and tidier your grow room is, the less likely it is that pests, diseases, or mold will take hold of your plants.

Clean your grow room before setting up your plantation, keep your scissors and other tools in a suitable place and wash your hands before and after handling your plants.
