What is Bhang and How to do it?

As a cannabis lover, you have surely tried various methods of use, but have you ever heard of bhang? If your answer is no, here is what it is and how to prepare it.

The Bhang

Bhang is a cannabis drink that has been consumed in northern India for a long time and is still enjoyed today.

This drink is made from the flowers, leaves and sometimes the crushed stems of the cannabis plant, milk, water, spices and sometimes yogurt are used.

One of the most popular products is bhang goli, (which are balls of bhang paste already prepared with the rest of the ingredients).

It is believed that bhang offers various benefits, so it is used in religious ceremonies and in Ayurvedic medicine.

Bhang is considered one of the oldest cannabis traditions in the world and its origin is related to Hindu gods.

Power

As with any food is ideal to consume gradually, because when you ingest cannabis, the effect usually takes longer to appear, and bhang is no exception, after a while you begin to feel the power of this drink and its effect can be durable.

Bhang Recipe

Ingredients:

– 2 cups of water.

– 4 Grams of fresh marijuana buds.

– 4 Grams of fresh marijuana leaves.

– 3 cups of hot milk.

– ½ Cup of sugar or a spoonful of honey.

– 1 Tablespoon of coconut milk.

– 1 Tbsp ground almonds.

– ½ teaspoon ground ginger.

– 1 pinch of garam masala

– 1 teaspoon grenadine

Steps to follow:

1 – The first thing you do is add water to boil in the pot. Then add all the cannabis, and simmer for at least 10 minutes.

2- After, remove from the heat, then add two spoons of milk and mix well.

3- Then add the rest of the milk along with the almonds, and stir repeatedly.

4- Strain the mixture to remove the remains of cannabis and almonds. Then add the missing ingredients and mix well.

5- Let your mixture cool down for a couple of hours before serving. That’s it!
