Don’t make a mistake in the cannabis kitchen! Follow these advices

1- Do not forget to decarboxylate your cannabis

To cook with marijuana one of the first steps you must do is to decarboxylate your cannabis (apply heat) to convert the THCA into THC.

If you forget this, process and use your raw cannabis directly in your recipe, when you are going to consume it you will not feel high.

Although it sounds complicated, decarboxylation of cannabis is very simple, you only have to heat the oven to about 110-120°C.

Then grind your buds and place them on a tray with baking paper, and bake them for 30 to 45 minutes. Be sure to stir every 10 to 15 minutes.

When the above time is up, take your cannabis out of the oven and use it in the recipe of your choice.

2- Mix the ingredients

When you cook with cannabis an important aspect that you must be aware of, is to remove the ingredients well to distribute the oil or butter of marijuana correctly, otherwise, some portions could be very powerful and others do not have any effect.

Be patient, mix the ingredients well and you will see how the results will be more satisfactory.

3- Start with small portions

One of the most common mistakes that novice users make is to eat too many large portions to get high instead of starting with small doses.

The reason may be that the effects of the food take longer to manifest, so the user not feeling anything instantly takes a new portion, but it is not ideal.

When consuming comestibles of cannabis it is recommended to wait a time (sometimes up to two hours) to evaluate the effects of a dose, before returning to eat.

Keep in mind that this method can cause you a stronger and lasting effect, in comparison with other forms of consumption like smoking, so go easy!
